There Is A Shift Happening

I can align myself with the work of positive psychologists because they aren’t afraid to try. Try to use science to make dreams come true, wishful thinking a reality, and to call on people- anyone- to use their imaginations.

Positive psychology is shifting from well-being as an individual possession to well-being for all and everything. It is called Regenerative Positive Psychology, a phrase I first read about in a paper by Dr. Michael Steger called Regenerative positive psychology: A call to reorient wellbeing science to meet the realities of our world.

Positive psychologists aren’t just asking other certified psychologists to come up with ways to help with this monumental shift from thinking about how to maintain our own well-being to considering the well-being of everyone and everything. They are asking anyone, from any field of study and expertise, even autodidacts like me who have inadvertently been studying positive psychology, to help.

The Personal Statement of Purpose Workshop is my first contribution to this fundamental shift.

How does the Personal Statement of Purpose Workshop do that?

The science of psychology is about asking the right questions, and in the workshop we start by asking “what do you want for the well-being of others and the world?” Why? To make the fundamental shift from thinking about ourselves to thinking about ourselves as part of the solution for a better world, and…this is why I love purpose so much, because what we want for others’ well-being is what we need more of for our own well-being. It is a win-win mindshift.

Join us for one of our Statement of Purpose Workshops to start being part of the solution for a better world while maintaining your own well-being and flourishing.
