Why Write A Book Now?

The time to write my book is now, because my dog Toshi died.

We got Toshi in 2016, and without knowing until my sister Wendy pointed out to me, he was to be my coping dog as I started my journey to the self-awareness of my authenticity and the value I have to give the world, my purpose.

Toshi had two jobs:

  1. To unconditionally love me.

  2. To let me be authentic as I practice my purpose, to help others feel something true about themselves, so they can maintain their authenticity and live their best life.

I was so obsessed with Toshi living the life he was meant to live, it got to the point where I started to doubt myself and was asking anyone who I thought would give me their honest answer, “Do you think he is living his best life?”

Little did I know that Toshi would bookend the most transcendent time in my life. When he died, his job was done. I knew it, and he knew it.

Toshi died to tell me to stop questioning myself and take my purpose beyond him, to create something new that could reach much farther than I could imagine, so others could experience what he experienced, the opportunity through what I create to feel something true about themselves, so they can live their best life.

That is why the time is now.

I hope you will follow along as I do my best to create something dedicated to Toshi.

You will find more of my journey on Instagram and Facebook.
